Although there seemed to be a resounding agreement that the
newest Mara Hoffman collection fit more of a spring/summer feel, it was still a
“cute” collection.
Mara Hoffman is well known for her love of prints and her
ability to pull of the bohemian theme well and the fall/winter 2012 collection
did just that. It provided vibrant prints and long flowy bohemian-like pieces
with a hint of a southwestern vibe. Several models sported cowboy-esque hats
while some even wore scarves.
Meanwhile, to resume back to the spring/summer feel, most of
the collection was created with lots of color unlike many other fall/winter
collections. But, to be fair, some sweaters were sent down the runway.
Overall, dresses with hoods, sexy above-the-knee numbers,
drapery, and rich accessories in collaboration with All For The Mountain were
all presented. The collection is very freeing and fun. And although it doesn’t meet
the typical fall expectations those in warmer climates can certainly make peace
with something from the Mara Hoffman fall/winter 2012 collection.
